Iron Skillet Shrimp with Garlicky Basil and Kalamata Sauce

A quick and delicious dish featuring fresh jumbo shrimp cooked in a flavorful garlicky basil and Kalamata olive sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh jumbo shrimp
  • 1/3 c. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 c. marinara sauce
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 c. fresh chopped basil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 c. pitted Kalamata olives

Preparation

  1. 1.Peel and de-vein shrimp.
  2. 2.Mix all ingredients including shrimp in a bowl.
  3. 3.Layer ingredients in an iron skillet.
  4. 4.Bake at 450 degrees for 9 minutes.
