Pasta with Olive Oil and Garlic Sauce
A simple yet flavorful pasta dish featuring olive oil, garlic, and anchovies for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 10 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Non-pareil capers, well-drained and rinsed
- Anchovies – 4, minced with a light squeeze of lemon juice
- 1 lb dried spaghetti
- Grated pecorino to taste
Preparation
- 1.Bring salted water to a rolling boil (no oil!).
- 2.Cook pasta as directed.
- 3.In a preheated sauce pan, add oil, red pepper flakes, capers, and anchovy paste.
- 4.Sauté for 2 minutes.
- 5.Add garlic. Sauté until lightly golden.
- 6.Add pasta to sauce pan and toss. Plate.
- 7.Add pecorino to taste.
